(y/n) smiled as she leaned against Emil’s shoulder. The two stared up at the auroras shimmering lights in the sky. Greens, pinks, yellows and blues drifted in waves across the heavens as you two watched.


“I’m glad you’re here with me (y/n)” Emil smiled as he handed you a strand of licorice. You two were bundled in coats and blankets, sitting on the back porch of the Nordic house, watching the auroras.


“This is so beautiful” you murmured as Emil wrapped an arm around you and pulled you closer.

“I feel like I can reach up and grab them” you giggled


“If you do that, then I won’t get tourists!” Emil laughed


“I’ll still visit you” you smiled and bit onto the licorice.


“I know” Emil muttered


“I feel so happy when I’m with you” you grinned as Emil blushed


“Me too. I’m glad you chose me out of all those other guys” Emil added


“I love you, Emil” you murmured as Emil turned to look at you. His wavy silver hair framed his face perfectly.

“I love you too (y/n)” Emil smiled as he softly kissed you.


“Look!” you pointed to a small flock of flying puffins.


“I see puffins all the time….” Emil shuddered a bit as you snuggled close to him.


“I love your country” You cooed as Emil smiled and nuzzled you affectionately.

“My little brother has grown up so fast…” Norway sniffled as he dried his eyes.


“The pipsqueak has finally grown into a man” Denmark laughed


“Soon he’ll leave the nest and spread his wings” Norway added


“Like a puffin!” Denmark joked until the Norwegian had enough and began choking the Dane with his own tie.


“Somebody say puffin?” Mr. Puffin stuck his head in the room and waddled in. He examined the room until he spotted his friend Iceland. He walked straight towards them until….*SMACK* he collided with the glass door.


“What the hell?!” Mr. Puffin spat as he tried to figure out what had stopped him.

“I guess animals can’t tell it’s a glass door” Norway opened the door for the tiny bird as he marched outside.
