You gazed at Captain Hina as she barked orders at her lower subordinates. Her fierceness and beauty were one to behold. You heart pounded in your chest as Coby spotted you looking at her and smiled.


“You know you’re her type, right (y/n)?” Coby asked as you covered his mouth in panic. You didn’t want Hina discovering your secret.


“Are you lying Coby?!” you quietly demanded as he frantically shook his head and gasped for air as you released him and he grinned.


“Hina has been looking for a stable man for a while. You’d definitely have a good chance!” Coby smiled as you blushed and peeked at Hina again. She was the definition of beauty, even pirate empress Hancock didn’t stand a chance against the Marine goddess. Right now, Dressrosa was in recovery after Doflamingo’s arrest, you and Captain Hina and Captain Coby were assigned to supervise reconstruction.

“No way! You look as good as captain Smoker! And ladies love him!” Coby chirped as he tailed after you down the street. You tried mustering your courage to make a way to confess to Hina. Like her devil fruit, she put a cage around your heart and snared you as hers. You wanted to free your love and devotion to her in hopes she felt the same.


“I know I can do this!” you sighed as Coby patted your back encouragingly. You knew it was now or never to impress Hina.

You cleaned your hair and teeth and tried to make yourself look presentable to her and raced out of your chambers to find Hina. Now you were back at Headquarters and couldn’t pass up a chance.


“Captain Hina!” you yelled as the pink haired vixen turned to gaze at you. She raised an eyebrow as you blushed and stood in front of her. “You look pretty today” you choked out as she smirked, knowing you had little to no flirting skills.


“Thanks, I get that a lot” She hummed as you inwardly facepalmed and wished you’d said something better. “I’ll see you around Captain (y/n)” she giggled and waved as she walked away. You felt defeated from that failed attempt as Coby approached.


“Don’t let yourself quit, (y/n)!” Coby sternly declared as he helped you back to your office to find a way into Hina’s caged heart to mingle and flirt with her.

“Now I’ve got an ace trick up my sleeve!” You grinned and approached Hina again, this time determined to score her affection and maybe a confession to her.


“I heard you’re trying to woo Captain Hina” You looked behind you to see Admiral Aokiji looking down at you as you stiffened up and became frightened.


“Tell her a pickup line, she likes them” was all he said before leaving you alone. He had a bag over his shoulder that looked suspicious as to what he had planned.


“Ok, so I gotta tell her a joke….” You muttered to yourself. “Tell who a joke?” You turned around to see Hina standing behind you with her arms folded and a cigarette dangling from her lips.


“I-I-I…..nobody!” you lied as she scowled. “No, now! Tell me or I’ll report your sneaky behavior” she threatened as you knew there was no chance to escape from being backed into a corner.


“You must be a banana, because I find you a-peeling!” you shouted and swiftly ran away before she could react to your pick up line. You couldn’t face rejection after being put on the spot by her.

“Hina is looking for you” Smoker grunted as he spotted you hiding around the training fields of Headquarters. Behind a potted plant wasn’t the best of hiding places.


“I’m trying to avoid her” you gulped as Smoker exhaled his cigar fumes. “Be a man and face her. Only a fool would run from a woman like her” he snarled and walked away after passing the message along.


You knew hiding wouldn’t benefit you forever as you stepped out and saw Hina spot you from afar and came running towards you. She marched towards you before slapping you across the cheek. You weren’t sure if it was from the pathetic-ness of the pickup line or for avoiding her.


“Why were you avoiding me?!” she barked as you held your blushing and stinging cheek. “I-I was afraid! I was scared you wouldn’t like me anymore, or at all!” you murmured as she sighed and you glanced at her.


“I love you, Hina. I really do, I just wanted to impress you. I know I don’t look as handsome as Kuzan or Smoker!” you confessed as Hina gave you a stunned look of surprise. She smiled and removed her sunglasses and placed them on her head.


“Why wouldn’t I love a guy like you?” she cooed as she moved her body closer to yours as you felt your heart pound madly and your palms grow sweaty.

“Why didn’t you just spit it out and tell me?” Hina asked as she raised an eyebrow. You blushed and stammered until she yanked you into a rough kiss. You froze as she pulled her sweet lips away from you and winked. “You’re one heck of a guy, (y/n). You’re not like the others” Hina mumbled in a sultry tone as she kissed you quickly once more.


“You. Me. Dinner at 7 o’clock” She purred and walked away as you watched her strut away to prepare for your date tonight. You slumped against the wall in a love-struck daze and felt your heart race in your chest.


“I GOT A DATE!!!” You yelled and bolted down the hallway proudly as Coby laughed and shook his head from your eager antics. You were like a kid on a shopping spree in a candy store.
