England x Reader: Healing Incantation

“He’s in bad shape, should we tell (y/n)?” Alfred asked as he looked at his fellow allies.


“We should give them a few moments together” Francis nodded and called (y/n).


“Bonjour ma cherie, I’m afraid I have some bad news. Arthur is not doing so well. He’d like to see you” Francis murmured until he shut the phone.


Moments later, (y/n) rushed inside and took her place by Arthur’s bedside.


“What happened to him!?” she asked and held his hand.


“The WWII bombings from Germany on London have caused him great pain. He may not recover” China explained


(y/n) was the country of (c/n), but since (c/n) was so small, no one took notice of her and never dragged her into war. Arthur had been a great many deals of war. Arthur coughed and looked up at (y/n) with his tired emerald eyes and smiled weakly.


“Hello, love. I’m glad to see you” Arthur muttered quietly. (y/n) teared up and sniffled.


“Don’t cry, love. Tears don’t suit you at all” Arthur cooed and gently caressed (y/n)’s cheek with his thumb. (y/n) cried and held his hand to her cheek.


“You can’t die. Your England!” she whimpered


“I can’t help it. I’m trying, love” Arthur wheezed as blood sputtered from his mouth. Arthur panted as his eyes fluttered closed.


“No Arthur!!” (y/n) cried out as everyone watched. (y/n) nudged Arthur, but he would not move.


“I know, this’ll help” (y/n) pulled out her rose that Arthur gave her. He had ventured to a foreign country and found a rare rose that was rumored to heal anything. (y/n) placed it over his heart and closed her eyes as she began to sing the spell he had taught her.


“~Flower, gleam and glow
Let your power shine
Make the clock reverse
Bring back what once was mine
Heal what has been hurt
Change the Fates' design
Save what has been lost
Bring back what once was mine
What once was mine….~” (y/n) finished and opened her eyes.


“Iggy can’t die!! He owes me a crap ton of money!!” Alfred wailed


“Who am I going to insult now?” Francis wiped his eyes with a handkerchief and blew his nose


“I guess I’ll have to become (y/n)’s lover now, so I can mend her broken heart” Francis sighed and wrapped an arm around (y/n)’s waist.


“Like hell you will, you bloody frog!!!” everyone gasped as Arthur leaped from his bed and began strangling Francis.


“He’s alive!” Russia blinked


“Aiyah!! That magic flower worked!!” China jumped for joy


“Hell yeah, I can still get my money now!!” Alfred laughed as Matthew smacked his brother upside the head.


“Arthur….you’re alive!” (y/n) smiled with tears still in her eyes. Arthur stopped strangling Francis and turned to smile at his lover.


“I don’t plan on disappearing anytime soon” he chuckled until he was pounced on. (y/n) pinned him to the ground and peppered his face with kisses.


“I love you, even if you are the black sheep of Europe!!” she giggled


“I say we all give them privacy!” Matthew added and shoved everyone outside the room.


“I love you Arthur Kirkland!” (y/n) hugged him tightly as he smiled and squeezed her tightly


“I love you too (y/n). Thank you for saving me…” Arthur muttered and held her close.
