Norway folded his arms as he and Iceland watched Denmark with (y/n) outside. It was summer so the two were sitting at the edge of their pool.


“I can tell (y/n)’s gonna make the Dane shape up” Emil nodded


“It’ll be a disaster seeing Matthias try to act like a gentleman” Lukas snorted as he left the two alone. Emil trailed after his older brother.


“But he can’t even confess to her, I bet you he’ll be too cowardly to do it!” Emil added


“He’ll man up and do it eventually, I’ll accept your bet little brother.” Lukas responded

Matthias blushed as he glanced at (y/n) gently moving her foot along the water’s surface as she looked down. He wanted to make a move, but he was afraid of looking stupid.


“I’m happy you’re here” He grinned as she glanced up at him


“I’m happy too” she smiled as he secretly sighed that his comment wasn’t awkward


“It’s been so quiet lately, the axis and allies aren’t fighting as much as they used to, it’s almost like complete peace” (y/n) murmured as the Dane blushed and nodded


~So many things to tell her
But how to make her see
The truth about my past? Impossible!
She'd turn away from me~


‘How should I tell her I love her? Damn it, I’m usually so good with women, but with (y/n) I have the charisma of a five year old!’ Matthias mentally sighed


He was afraid she wouldn’t feel the same. What if she had feelings for someone else? He just didn’t know how to do it.


“Is it hot out here or is it just me-I mean you!? Oh damn it…” Matthias smacked his forehead as (y/n) raised an eyebrow and giggled.

Why is Matthias acting so strangely? He’s not his usual self today. I wonder if I did something wrong. Did I say or do something that offended him?


“I’m sorry Matthias” you spoke as the Dane raised an eyebrow at you.


“Sorry for what?” he asked


“You’ve been so quiet. I was afraid I offended you in some way” you explained


“No, of course not! I’m fine, hey let’s swim!” Matthias stood and ran to one end of the yard.

“Cannonball!!!” Matthias yelled before leaping into the pool, causing a huge splash of water. Matthias was not surfacing quickly so you started to worry he was drowning


“Matthias?” You peered over the edge of the pool before two arms reached up and pulled you into the water.


You swam up and gasped for air. You climbed back up onto the edge of the pool.


“You ass!” you shrieked as Matthias grinned at you. You rolled your eyes and shoved him back into the pool. You quickly ran away from the pool as Matthias climbed back out and darted after you.

(y/n) shrieked as Matthias tackled her and wrestled with her on the ground. When the two paused they realized the position they were in. Matthias was looming over (y/n) with his hands on either side of her head. Matthias lifted up to get off of her until she gently grabbed him and pulled him back down to kiss his cheek.


Matthias looked down at her in surprise as she winked at him. Matthias smirked and held her tightly. Without words, the two knew what the other was saying. Love speaks any language.

His carefree days with us are history
In short, our pal is doomed~


“Looks like Denmark and (y/n) are now a couple!” Finland smiled as Sweden nodded and pulled Tino away from the window.


“They need privacy” the tall Swede led the smaller male into the living room. Lukas smirked as Emil slapped money into his brother’s hands and frowned. A lesson was learned that day, don’t gamble on Denmark.
